- The articles are in special containers, which determine the weight by means of sensor-steered weight cells.
- The data is transmitted via modem directly to Bossard on a daily basis.
- When falling below minimum stocks the pre-defined order quantity is supplied automatically to the customer.

- For each article there are at least two containers available that are arranged one behind the other on the Kanban shelf.
- An empty container corresponds to an order.
- Bossard periodically collects the empty containers. The empty containers are identified by means of bar code and the purchase order is automatically released.
- Subsequently, as agreed with the customer, the filled containers are shipped.
