FASTEKS® Filko – Blind Rivet Nuts

FASTEKS^® FILKO is a single-piece, through-threaded, one-sided application nut, which is ‘blindly’ installed without re-work. It is an efficient solution for installing captive threads, even if there is no access to the backside of the panel. It can provide a resilient thread, particularly on thin-walled components and hollow sections. The rivet beading will ensure a high tear-out strength. FASTEKS^® FILKO blind rivet nuts come in three major types of shanks; round shank, knurled shank and hexagonal shank.

Round Shank
Features

A round-shank blind rivet nut is very commonly used in general applications. Several head styles, end styles, and materials in different sizes are available.

Material: Steel with zinc plate, thick passivated (RoHs), Stainless steel A2, A4

Knurled Shank
Features

For anti-torque requirements, a blind rivet nut with knurled shank may be the best solution for materials softer than the fastener.

Head style: Flat head / Flush head / Countersunk head 90º
End style: Open end / Closed end
Material: Steel with zinc plate, thick passivated (RoHs), Stainless steel A2, A4

Hexagonal Shank
Features

A hexagonal shank will improve torque-out resistance when installed into a hexagonal hole.

Blind Rivet Screw
Features

With a body like a blind rivet nut, but with high-strength male threads, blind rivet screws allow for flexibility in manufacturing. A special nose piece is required to install these fasteners.

Blind Clip-In Nut
Features

The flat head blind clip-in nut can be installed with a standard screw driver. It can dampen shock and vibration in an assembly. A brass insert nut is embedded in the neoprene body, which can be used for thermal or electrical insulation.
