VERWO is the innovative system provider for technologically complex industrial products for demanding customers. Around 300 employees at the VERWO sites in Switzerland and the Czech Republic do their utmost to ensure the perfect realisation of customer orders.

During a customer visit, we welcomed Roger Kühne, Head of Development at VERWO, to the headquarters of Bossard AG in Zug. We showed him what Proven Productivity means to us, and more importantly, to him.

In addition to product solutions in sheet metal processing, we also support VERWO in logistics with several applications. Assembly workstations equipped with intelligent SmartBins take care of B and C part management. Bossard supplier management also reduces process costs and administration by integrating and seamlessly supplying all suppliers.

It is clear to VERWO that they can only convince their customers with quality. This also includes keeping employees up to date with the latest technology. It quickly became clear that the Bossard Academy could offer exactly that.

This is exactly where the shoe pinches. We helped VERWO to clarify their needs and to develop, plan and organise specialist seminars and training courses - on the basics of screw connections, elements for sheet metal connections, screws and fuses as well as corrosion and corrosion protection.

As is usual for the Bossard Academy, we supplemented the theoretical part with a good 50% practical exercises and workshops. Participants were able to find out for themselves how the preload force is affected if a torque tool is used incorrectly. Or which type of tool brings which tightening safety Tightening safety preload force dispersion with it. There were also aha effects when they used new, functional screws for sheet metal applications. This is only part of the exciting practical experience.

The proven mix of theory and practice helps participants to try out and test what they have learnt. Workbenches and the necessary materials and tools are available at the Bossard Academy for this purpose.
