Business Development Manager 80-100% (m/w)

The Bossard Group is a leading international supplier of product solutions and services in industrial fastener and assembly technology headquartered in Zug, with over 30 subsidiaries worldwide. In the course of Industry 4.0, we are expanding our digital service portfolio. To accomplish this, we are building a new business field with the goal of optimizing and digitally transforming our customers' assembly processes in terms of productivity, quality and process reliability. To complement our team, which is a startup within the group, we are looking for

 

Business Development Manager 80-100% (m/w)

In this challenging and exciting position, you will be part of the new Center of Excellence and support and drive the roll out and scaling process within our global company. In your dynamic role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

Your tasks

  • Work with local Business Field leaders in setting sales growth target.

  • Collaborate with the local Business Field leaders to ensure the sales goals and targets are met.

  • Proactively develops, prepares and delivers pitches to prospects and tries to expand solutions and services within existing accounts.

  • Make sure the business processes that are needed for executing the services within the group are in place.

  • Takes part in further shaping a value driven and sustainable business model.

  • Supports in defining the roll out strategy, creating training content and holding training sessions for the Business Units and its clients.

  • Supports Business Units along the selling process, especially in analyzing customers production/assembly processes in order to define system requirements until the Unit is mature enough.

     

Your qualifications

  • You have on a daily basis the indispensable drive and motivation to give together with the team your very best for our customers and to design value-adding solutions

  • You like challenging the status quo and a more agile way of solving challenges suits you

  • You have several years of work experience, preferably in System Selling, Product Management or Project Management, in an industrial environment

  • Higher education in e. g. Business Administration, Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar

  • Knowledge of assembly/production processes is a big advantage

  • Ability to work on several simultaneous projects, set priorities and deliver on time, in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong intercultural communication and interpersonal skills

  • In-depth use and knowledge of MS Office (Word, PP, Excel)

  • Advanced in English and German (B2) is an added advantage

  • Willingness to travel (max. 20%)
