Bossard SmartTools

Battery-powered screwdriving and riveting devices are the perfect start in digitalizing your production. Our Bossard SmartTools receive information about the next work step directly from the system and return information about the current work status. Configuration is simple and user-friendly. The tools can be operated in our work instructions software ELAM Solutions or stand-alone. They do not require an additional control system and can store 99 different screwdriving programs.

• Easy handling: All Bossard SmartTools are intuitive to use. New operators find their way quickly and easily and do not require long training periods. 
• Direct status indication through colored LED: The fitter always receives immediate feedback from the tool through the LED display. The lights can be individually programmed and signal, for example, when the tool is ready for use.
•  Man-Machine-Communication: The OLED display shows all important information such as battery status, set torque, status of the last processing step and more. Settings for autonomous use of the tool can also be adjusted in the tool menu. 
• Connected and Smart: The integrated WLAN module ensures wireless data transmission within the shop floor. The tools can be controlled with a central control software. The optional scanner can read 2D and bar codes and use this information to parameterize the machine for the next work step. 

Bossard SmartCamera

Integrated with ELAM Solutions, Bossard SmartCameras verify assembly steps, detect defects, and ensure quality. They increase efficiency and reduce errors, which makes them invaluable for quality assurance and production optimization.

Our SmartCamera uses computer vision to recognize hands, tools, parts, labels, codes, and assembly states in real time. It overlays guidance and checks each step against configurable rules, releasing or stopping the process automatically. All results are logged into ELAM Solutions for full traceability and continuous improvement. Running on-device, the camera minimizes latency while scaling easily across stations and variants.

SmartBin Cloud and SmartLabel Cloud

When we visit your company, you can also experience our intelligent solutions for inventory management of your C-parts, SmartBin Cloud and SmartLabel Cloud.

SmartBin Cloud is our digital storage bin with an integrated weight that simplifies your reordering process and saves many man-hours on an annual basis while increasing delivery reliability. SmartBin monitors the stock using the weight, and when the stock falls below a certain level, an order is automatically placed.

SmartLabel Cloud is a digital label that provides access to product and order information in real time directly at the point of consumption. It can be integrated with existing storage bins or used as a standalone solution. With one touch of the label, you can order items immediately, and the LED-based Pick-to-Light function makes it quick and easy to find the right storage bin for picking and replenishment – regardless of lighting conditions.
