Brass made cable glands can improve PERFECT metal cable glands particularly from the small proportions of lead as a third component. For instance, CuZn39Pb3, can be resistant to water, vapor, and saline solutions, as well as many organic fluids. Surface will normally be galvanized for better anti-corrosion.
