FILTEC® – Wire Threaded Inserts

FILTEC^® wire threaded inserts allow the manufacture of high strength threads with optimal transmission from the bolt to the nut thread. They are ideally suited to thread reinforcement in materials with minimal shear performance such as aluminium or magnesium and are therefore indispensible in the machine and plant construction, electronics, automobile, aircraft and astronautic industries. Thanks to these threaded inserts it is possible to create an almost completely 'non-wearing' thread.

Features

FILTEC+^® wire threaded inserts are the optimum solution in the field of standard applications. The range of use extends from connections repeatedly disconnected to the reconstruction of damaged threads. This threaded insert simplifies installation considerably for the user. Thanks to its optimized conception the FILTEC^®+ is very easy to turn in and install.

LOCKFIL+® Wire Threaded Insert, Self-Securing
Features

This special wire thread insert additionally features one or more polygon coils that exercise pressure on the sides of the mounted bolt. It is especially well suited to applications that are subject to alternating loads or vibrations. Additional bolt clips can be saved.
