1. Placer la douille sur l'élément, poinçon de presse avec tenon de guidage conique.
2. Enfoncer au moyen d'une presse à genouillière. Lors de l'opération, les deux segments fléchissent vers l'intérieur.
3. Processus de vissage, écartement:
- L'arête tranchante ou la cannelure s'ancre dans la paroi du trou.
- La tension résiduelle constitue une sécurité pour la vis.
