Growth strategy in Southeast Asia

Tháng Hai 19, 2016

Ambitious capacity expansion in Thailand

The Bossard Group has been expanding its presence in the Asian region for years. In addition to China, the focus is noticeably oriented to the Thai market, where the company’s above-average growth rates have been attracting attention. In line with this overall perspective a distinctive capacity expansion was put in motion and completed last year. Hence, early this year Bossard Thailand was able to move into a new technology and logistic center in close vicinity of Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

The expansion of the infrastructure reflects that Bossard continues to see a lot of growth potential in Thailand and in the neighboring market regions: With the technology and logistics center near the airport Bossard Thailand now has a significantly higher warehouse capacity than before. Moreover, customers now also have a training center available with sixty places for trainings and specialized seminars.

Our customers additionally profit from the expansion of the Technical Expert Center, where customer-specific solutions for the industrial fastener and assembly technology will be compiled and developed in the future together with the Bossard experts. “The investment and the relocation were necessary, as the resources at the previous site were no longer sufficient,” explained Bossard Group CEO David Dean this commitment in Southeast Asia. “Bossard Thailand is thus optimally prepared for a further expansion of the business activities in Southeast Asia.”
